I was trying to think of something I haven’t made before that would make for a great summer meal when I came across the idea to make Bacon, pineapple and chicken kabobs. I thought it would be a good way to mix things up and cook outside on a nice day. But there I was boasting in the kitchen about how much I like to cook and that I think I’ve become fairly good at it, thanks to the past four years of fending for myself in college, when I realized that I completely butchered the Hawaiian sauce for the kabobs. Note to self, go easy on the cornstarch.
Regardless, it’s not too late to break out the grill this summer if you haven’t yet. The kabobs themselves turned out great, so definitely feel free to give them a try, or any other combination of goodies on a stick that you see fit!
