This Bacon-Wrapped Barbecue Chicken is really good. Good enough that I wanted to post it. My mom marinated the chicken in the barbecue sauce all day, then wrapped the chicken in bacon about an hour before grilling, holding the bacon on to the chicken using toothpicks.
Remember to take out the toothpicks before serving them to guests or family or friends. It wouldn’t be pretty if you took a bite of toothpick. This bacon and chicken cooked together? It was like a dream come true. Crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it!
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups barbecue sauce
12 oz package of bacon
Marinate the chicken in the barbecue sauce for 8 hours or overnight. Before grilling, wrap each piece of chicken with two slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks.
Place chicken on preheated grill and cook for about 10 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is no longer pink.
