Today is National Onion Ring Day, and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate than with these Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings!!

I'm a big fan of onion rings! In fact, up until this morning, I might have said that onion rings were the perfect food...with their crispy golden-brown batter and deliciously tender onion center. How could you possibly improve on that? With BACON - of course!!

So, how are these bacon wrapped onion rings made? Well, basically you slice your onions into rings, wrap strips of bacon around them, dip them in ranch dressing or BBQ sauce, cover them in breading, and deep fry the bejesus outta them!
