Recipes for Bacon Wrapped Smokies have been around for awhile. But have you tried them with jalapeno peppers? Or pineapple? Yummo! This appetizer comes together in a rather quick fashion, especially if you have an extra set of hands to help wrap the little beef sausages with Bacon. I especially like that the bulk of the preparation can be done ahead of time. Simply pop a container of Bacon wrapped smokies in the refrigerator. When your guests are on their way, place the smokies on a pan, add brown sugar or jam to their tops, and slide the pan into the oven. It’s always great to have a hot appetizer or two.
