Time to whip up a batch of BACON Frito Pie!!
16 slices Peppered Bacon, divided
1 (15 oz) can chili, with beans
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
2 cups Frito Lay corn chips, scoop-type
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 red onion, medium, diced
1 tomato, diced
Cook Peppered Bacon according to package directions until crispy.
When cooled slightly, crumble 8 slices of bacon in a bowl and cut remaining 8 slices into thirds to resemble scoop-type corn chips. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine chili, hot sauce and the bacon crumbles. Heat until warm.
In four bowls, equally divide the corn chips and bacon scoops. Top each with chili mixture, cheese, red onions and tomatoes.
