It's another great food holiday, National Oatmeal Day! Now, before you go running for the hills because I am mixing Bacon with oatmeal, you have to just calm down and try this recipe. It's not the worse thing for you, add in some slivered almonds and flaxseed and you’ve got a hearty but not overly indulgent breakfast to fuel you through the morning. This breakfast is definitely one of those reasons to get out of bed.
P.S. Add as much Bacon as you want! :)
